Publication Policy
Review Process
Articles are written in Indonesian or English (titles and abstracts are written in Indonesian and English). All review processes are conducted using a double-blind review system. The Editor handles all correspondence with authors and makes the final decision on whether the paper is recommended for review. The Editor-in-Chief then makes a decision based on the reviewers' recommendations from among several options: reject, require major revision, require minor revision, or accept.
The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Team will evaluate submitted papers at the pre-qualification stage for suitability for further review. Manuscripts will be evaluated by two qualified peer reviewers selected by the Editor-in-Chief. The peer reviewers should review the manuscript and return it with their recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief as soon as possible. The Editor-in-Chief decides whether the paper will be accepted or rejected.
Papers requiring revision will be returned to the authors, and the revised manuscript must be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief via the OJS (Journal of Chemical Education Research and Practice). The Editor-in-Chief sends the revised manuscript to the Editorial Board to review whether the revisions align with the peer reviewers' suggestions. The Editor-in-Chief may recommend that the manuscript be returned to the authors, accepted, or rejected. The Editor-in-Chief will send the authors a letter of acceptance announcing the publication issue, along with a reprint of the manuscript.
