Focus and Scope
Wahana Fisika (WAFI) is an open-access journal published by Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The journal focuses on disseminating original research articles in the field of physics and its applications. WAFI aims to provide a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to share knowledge and contribute to the advancement of science and technology.

- Fundamental and applied research in physics.
- Interdisciplinary studies linking physics with geoscience, engineering, and environmental sciences.
- Applications of physics in technology, energy, materials, and disaster mitigation.
Scope
The scope of WAFI includes, but is not limited to:
- Theoretical Physics: quantum mechanics, relativity, particle physics, condensed matter.
- Applied Physics: material science, nanotechnology, optics, electronics, renewable energy.
- Material Physics: properties of materials, crystallography, semiconductors, superconductors, polymers, composites, and advanced functional materials.
- Geophysics & Earth Science Applications: seismology, volcanology, geophysical exploration, environmental physics.
- Astronomy & Astrophysics: stellar and solar physics, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, cosmology, planetary science, observational techniques, astronomical instrumentation, and night sky brightness studies.
- Computational & Mathematical Physics: modeling, simulation, data analysis, machine learning in physics.
- Instrumentation & Measurement: sensor development, experimental methods, laboratory innovations.
- Interdisciplinary Studies: physics in relation to chemistry, biology, engineering, and environmental studies.
WAFI welcomes contributions from national and international authors and encourages submissions that promote innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the advancement of scientific knowledge.
