Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Please prepare your manuscript according to the following instructions before submitting it through the online submission system. The full manuscript template can be downloaded here.
Manuscripts submitted to JEM (Jurnal EurekaMatika) should be between 6 and 15 pages, including tables and figures, formatted using 1.5 line spacing. The abstract should not exceed 200 words.
1. Use of Word Processing Software
Manuscripts should be prepared using a standard word processor and saved in the native format of the software used. The text should be written in a single-column format. Keep the layout as simple as possible since most formatting will be adjusted during the production process.
- Avoid using automatic text justification or hyphenation.
- Bold, italics, subscripts, and superscripts may be used where necessary.
- When creating tables, use a single grid for each table.
- Use tabs instead of spaces to align columns.
2. Article Structure
- Subdivision – Numbered Sections
Divide the manuscript into clearly defined numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered as follows: 1, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, etc. The abstract is not included in the numbering. - Introduction
State the objectives of the research and provide sufficient background without an extensive literature review. - Materials and Methods
Provide enough detail so that the research can be reproduced. Previously published methods should be cited. - Results
Results should be presented clearly and concisely. - Discussion
Explain the significance of the findings without repeating the results. Combining the Results and Discussion section is acceptable. - Conclusions
Present the main conclusions of the study briefly.
3. Essential Title Page Information
- Title
The title should be concise, informative, and avoid abbreviations where possible. - Author Names and Affiliations
Clearly indicate each author's full name and institutional affiliation. Include the full address and country. - Corresponding Author
Clearly indicate the corresponding author responsible for communication during the review and publication process. Provide a valid email address. - Present or Permanent Address
If an author has moved since completing the research, the new address may be indicated in a footnote.
4. Abstract
The abstract should briefly describe the research purpose, methodology, main findings, and major conclusions. It must be able to stand alone and should not exceed 200 words. References should generally be avoided in the abstract.
5. Keywords
Provide a maximum of 6 keywords immediately after the abstract. Use American spelling and avoid general or plural terms. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes.
6. Acknowledgements
Acknowledgements should be placed in a separate section before the references. Mention individuals or institutions that provided support such as language editing, technical assistance, or funding.
7. Nomenclature and Units
Authors should follow internationally accepted rules and conventions, using the International System of Units (SI). If other units are used, their SI equivalents should be provided.
8. Mathematical Formulae
Mathematical equations should be submitted as editable text rather than images. Equations that are displayed separately from the text should be numbered consecutively.
9. Tables
Tables should be submitted as editable text and numbered consecutively according to their appearance in the manuscript. Table notes should appear above the table body. Avoid excessive use of tables and do not duplicate information already presented in the text.
10. References
Citation in Text
Ensure that every reference cited in the text appears in the reference list and vice versa. Unpublished results or personal communications should generally not be included in the reference list.
Web References
Include the full URL and the date the source was accessed. Additional information such as DOI, authors, and publication date should also be provided when available.
References in Special Issues
When citing articles from the same special issue, include the phrase “this issue” in the reference.
