Abstract

Analisis efisiensi merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung kinerja Decisions Making Unit (DMU). Analisis efisiensi sendiri secara sederhana merupakan perbandingan antara output dan input suatu DMU. Bidang pelayanan kesehatan mempunyai peran dalam suksesnya pembangunan nasional yang perlu dinilai kinerjanya, oleh karena itu pada penelitian kali ini akan dikaji perhitungan efisiensi 21 rumah sakit umum kelas B milik pemerintahkabupaten/kota yang ada di Jawa Barat dengan menggunakan metode Principal Component Analysis-Data Envelopment Analysis (PCA-DEA) untuk menilai kinerja rumah sakit sebagai pelayan kesehatan masyarakat. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan PCA untuk menentukan komponen utama pada 5 variabel output dan 2 variabel input dan menggunakan hasil komponen utama PCA sebagai variabel output dan input yang baru untuk menghitung DEA, diperoleh 3 komponen utama input dan 1 komponen utama output. Dari 21 rumah sakit hanya terdapat 5 rumah sakit yang efisien berdasarkan metode PCA-CCR dan 6 rumah sakit yang efisien berdasarkan PCA-BCC, dari proyeksi perbaikan penilain yang dilakukan perbaikan rumah sakit umum yang tidak efisien mengalami pengurangan yang sangat progresif rata-rata 49% menurut model PCA-CCR, sedangkan pada model PCA-BCC rata-rata 28% pada seluruh inputnya dikedua model tersebut.
